Kind Kick started with two people who love coffee, and a simple problem. They could not handle caffeine the way they used to. The usual decafs felt like a downgrade, so they went looking for proper coffee beans without the caffeine buzz. After plenty of tasting, they discovered that decaffeinated coffee can be delicious. Kind Kick was built to prove it, with speciality beans that just happen to be decaffeinated.
We want to set coffee free. Free from caffeine rules and cutoffs. We believe the joy of coffee is flavour, not a stimulant. Kind Kick makes coffee you can drink whenever you like and as much as you like. Morning to midnight. First cup to fifth. Always delicious.
How Kind Kick is made
Kind Kick is a journey to find the best decaffeinated roasts. We love coffee, but we don’t think caffeine is essential. That’s why we set out to share coffees full of flavour, minus the jitters. To make a Kind Kick, our roaster selects fresh harvest lots with good density and clean processing so they hold their structure after decaffeination. Because decaffeinated beans are more fragile, we roast them gently with steady airflow to protect sweetness and body, landing at a medium roast with clarity and balance.
